The Peachy Queen Company was launched in 2023, based in the heart of The Yorkshire Dales and run by me, Keira, a proper Yorkshire lass.
Born from my own passion for fitness and activity and the desire to create and provide high-quality, high-performance clobber at prices that don't break the bank. Designed by lasses, for lasses!
Through my media platforms, I aim to encourage and empower women to get active and stay active, whatever that may look like for you. I hope to be relatable and supportive....you'll get the full Yorkshire monty here, even the dodgy bits!
The PQ community is full of inspiring women all enjoying their activities in PQ's wonderful gear, sharing their love for all things fitness, and inspiring others. The business has grown fast over the last few months and women wearing PQ clothing and accessories can be spotted all over the UK, Europe and occasionally further afield!
During the day I work as a Project Manager for a social housing organisation and have gained lots of transferable skills including business mentoring, community development, project management and of course brew making (Yorkshire Tea only) to name a few. I have always wanted my own business and at night, on weekends, holidays and in my sleep, I love being a Peachy Queen!
I spent my childhood loving sports in particular swimming and martial arts but eventually settled my sights on rugby league and union aged 8, I went on to spend a happy 25 years in the sport, I managed to represent Yorkshire, the North of England and have even had a run out with Great Britain during my career.
Since having my children the boots are well and truly hung up and have been replaced with mountain hikes, CrossFit and more recently a return to swimming. I am always up for a challenge and will have a go at most active things......so good training clobber is something I know a bit about.
I'm so excited to keep developing the brand, building our community, and introducing more new and exciting products and offers to the PQ family.
